PUMA sign 'Major'

Cape Town - PUMA have confirmed the signing of another Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana star, Lehlohonolo Majoro, to their stable after he signed a long term deal that will extend beyond 2017.

The 28-year-old striker, who has contributed to scoring over 8 goals for Orlando Pirates this season, will wear PUMA’s evoPOWER boot this season, and will be supplied with PUMA performance and lifestyle gear.

Majoro says, “There is no question that PUMA has upped the stakes in the past few years and everyone has noticed the great changes."

"For a player like myself, who has had a fair share of tough moments in the last year or so, there is no better way to announce my second coming than to move forward with a brand that has similar ambition and drive like me.

"I hope we will achieve great things together. And as they say when they welcome you here at PUMA, I am Forever Faster.”

Majoro joins fellow team mate Oupa Manyisa and a host of South African stars like Steven Pienaar, Themba Zwane and Tokelo Rantie in sporting PUMA.

“PUMA is very proud to welcome Major to the PUMA Football family." said PUMA South Africa’s Marketing Director Brett Bellinger.

"He joins his teammate Oupa Manyisa as our latest additions to the players wearing PUMA.

"Leholonolo has been in excellent form in recent weeks and we hope that his strong performances continue as he represents the PUMA evoPOWER boot range over the coming season,“ added Bellinger.
