PSL to pump cash into NFD clubs

Cape Town - National First Division clubs will receive a substantial raise in their grant after agreeing terms with the National Soccer League.

According to KickOff, an unnamed official revealed that NFD outfits receive R380 000 a month which will rise to R700 000.

"This is certainly a great relief for NFD teams," says the official.

"This will go a long way to ease the financial burden and improve the quality of football in the National First Division."

It has been reported that PSL clubs receive R1.5m from the league on a monthly basis.
