PSL received Manqele complaint

Cape Town - The PSL have confirmed that Edward Manqele and the Mamelodi Sundowns matter is now in the hands of the Dispute Resolution Chamber.

According to KickOff, the player filed documents stating that Sundowns failed to pay his September salary and signing-on fee.

“A matter is sent for conciliation [where parties are supposed to talk to each other with a view to reaching an amicable solution] before it is sent for DRC,” said PSL media and broadcasting manager Luxolo September.

“We are now awaiting the date for the Dispute Resolution Chamber hearing.”

The Manqele saga is now stretching for three long months after the player returned to Chloorkop having had a successful loan spell with Moroka Swallows.

The forward was on the verge of joining Chippa United on transfer deadline day which was completed but the deal hit a snag with sided indifference's between Sundowns and the 27-year-old.

Meanwhile, the Brazilians will face University of Pretoria on Saturday, October 4 in the Telkom Knockout.

Kick-off is at 17:30.
