PSL mourns Madiba

Johannesburg - Former president Nelson Mandela will live forever as a motivating force for those that seek and strive for peace and human dignity, Premier Soccer League (PSL) chairman Irvin Khoza paid him tribute on Friday.

"Madiba carried a vision guided by an inner voice to deliver our nation from a divisive and self-destructive course of history," Khoza said.

"Ours is a special generation that saw Madiba in action. I am personally gratified and particularly privileged to have known this good man, an agent of change, a bearer of hope, and a representation of all that is good in humanity," he said.

Mandela, 95, died at his home in Houghton, Johannesburg, on Thursday night.
