2012-07-23 14:19

Johannesburg - The Premier Soccer League has charged Orlando Pirates with spectator misbehaviour and unsporting behaviour.

Pirates were scheduled to appear before the PSL DC this week but they have requested that the case be postponed.

It is alleged that on 19 May 2012, Bucs supporters misbehaved in a league match against Lamontville Golden Arrows at Moses Mabida Stadium.

@cosmo4n your an idiot if you're gonna try and defend the actions of the fans that day. I was at the game and the fans there acted like barbarians and a large section of the Pirates fans I was with were embarrased at the moronic behaviour of a few which left a sour taste in the mouth of the majority. You will never hear of Manchester utd, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona or Milan fans doing this.

@Cosmo4n you should be embarassed with yourself because that comment shows a lack of education and basic manners on your part. So winning a Premiership ( Championship) now gives one the right to act like an animal? Pirates fans have been doing this for years so I sort of understand that this is a process for the stupid. Atleast you guys have moved on from burning stadium chairs after losses so we understand - Happy People se moer more like Stupid people.

i do not condone bad bahaviour, so yes the team deserves to be punished, but somehow this seems to have presented a platform to 'some fans certain-team-whose-name-is-not-worth-mentioning, to vent out their hatred for Bucs. like seriously, this is not news to soccer fans, how many times do we see this on the pitch!
