PSL Team of the Week 7

Cape Town - Sport24's Tashreeq Vardien selects this weeks PSL Team of the Week following a string of indifferent results.

1. Moeneeb Josephs (Bidvest Wits) - Five consecutive clean sheets and put on a superb display against Orlando Pirates to earn Wits three points.

2. Reabetsoe Rakoti (Free State Stars) - An assist to his name as Stars continues to climb the PSL table.

3. Wayne Arendse (Mamelodi Sundowns) - Has been an instrumental figure in Pitso Mosimane’s defence line and very consistent.

4. Matome Mathiane (Golden Arrows) - Club captain and led his side to victory over SuperSport United with his opening goal.

5. Eric Chipeta (Chippa United) - Kept a clean sheet at the back and even had a hand in a goal after assisting Aristide Bance.

6. Mark Mayambela (Chippa United) - Was used as a substitute and the 'Chilli Boy' netted a free-kick in the 88th minute. 

7. Daine Klate (Bidvest Wits) - Netted a goal against his former club proving that experience always counts in your favour.

8. Keagan Dolly (Mamelodi Sundowns) - Struggled at first in the Brazilian jersey but has shown growth putting in fantastic performances.

9. Kudakwashe Mahachi (Golden Arrows) - Has been instrumental for Arrows and showed his quality against Matsatsansta.

10. Judas Mosemaedi (Mpumalanga Black Aces) - Was brought on from the substitutes bench to secure Aces a well earned point from 2-0 down

11. Andrea Fileccia (Free State Stars) - A brace of goals earned him a spot ahead of Platinum Stars' Ndumiso Mabena.
