Orlando Pirates made sure that they return to winning ways as they brushed aside Chippa United 2-0 courtesy of goals from Mpho Makola and Sifiso Myeni.

AmaZulu put three pass Moeneeb Josephs, which dampened his record breaking 410th PSL appearance, as Bidvest Wits succumbed to 3-1 at the hands of Usuthu.

League leaders Kaizer Chiefs dropped points on the road as Maritzburg United hit a late strike through Khumbulani Banda as Amakhosi's lead decreases more.

Mamelodi Sundowns rattled Polokwane City’s net five times as goals Khama Billiat (2), Cuthbert Malajila, Anthony Laffor and Rodney Ramagalela put Pitso Mosimane’s men within eight points of the Amakhosi.

SuperSport United failed yet again to pick up a win, as the rejuvenated Bloemfontein Celtic won a tense battle between the two sides as Alfred Ndengane’s goal divided the two teams at the end of 90 minutes.
