Kaizer Chiefs continue their rampant form as Stuart Baxter’s charges brushed aside Orlando Pirates 2-0 in a heated Soweto Derby at the FNB Stadium.

Pitso Mosimane's side rose to second place on the log following a 2-0 win over Free State Stars at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, courtesy of goals from Cuthbert Malajila and Khama Billiat.

Mpumalanga Black Aces and Polokwane City also got convincing wins over AmaZulu and Chippa United respectively, while Ajax Cape Town dropped points against SuperSport United as the teams played out to a goalless draw. The Urban Warriors slipped from second place into fourth on the PSL table.
