According to the statement released on the club's website, Mabizela was dismissed after having breached Aces' disciplinary code.

The following is the statement released by Black Aces:

“This is a result of the recommendations of a thorough disciplinary enquiry held on 28 October 2014 and conducted by Commissioner Stef Franke of Franke & Associates Attorneys. The final conclusion of a 4-page comprehensive report issued to Black Aces by the external commissioner was that the employee, Mbulelo Mabizela, will be dismissed forthwith.

Aces chairman Mario Morfou was very disappointed in that he had personally intervened in the negotiations with ’OJ’ and was unhappy with his conduct.

"He was one of our marque signings and when we entered into an agreement with him, we both discussed his previous disciplinary issues and I personally backed him. Very disappointed and it’s a sad day but we are running a business and no player is larger than the club."

Black Aces would like to thank Mabizela for his contribution and wishes him well with his future.”
