Okpara relishing legends clash

Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Williams Okpara says he is looking forward to the upcoming clash between Orlando Pirates Legends and Manchester United Legends on Saturday.

“We started training on Monday, and had another one last night, but we are getting there,” Okpara told KickOff.com website.

“I’m looking forward to playing against Manchester Legends, and also reuniting with the legends of Orlando Pirates.

“But I think it will be an interesting game. Hopefully we can come out tops,” he adds.

‘Willy’ retired in 2005 after an 18-year playing career and is currently serving as the club’s team liaison officer.

Okpara says after this weekend's exhibition match, clubs will be calling him to offer him a playing contract.

“I’ll tell you one thing, after this one game many clubs will be calling me, wanting to register me. Just watch, after Saturday my phone will be ringing non-stop,” he jokes.
