Offside trap attempt confuses Ertugral

Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral was left baffled as to why his side attempted to play the offside trap against Kaizer Chiefs.

Aces were a handed a 1-0 defeat courtesy of a lone Camaldine Abraw goal on the 30 minute in the first-half of their PSL tie.

George Lebese whipped in a cross only for AmaZayoni to implement the offside trap which failed dismally.

Lebese’s delivery then found the head of Abraw who put Chiefs in the driving seat for the rest of the encounter.

“My boys are working very hard, but I don’t understand why my seasoned campaigners played offside trap,” said Ertugral.

“I don’t believe in that nonsense… I don’t know who chose that we must play offside trap. I will ask them.”
