Obada not staying at Swallows

Cape Town - After Moroka Swallows were relegated to the National First Division it was clear most of their players won't remain with the team, especially the ones whose contracts are coming to an end.

One such player is Nigerian winger, Felix Obada, whose contract comes to an end on Tuesday, June 30, and he won't be staying at the team.

A Sport24 source said that the Nigerian has already started looking and planning for life outside the Dube Birds.

"Obada won't be staying with Swallows," the source said.

“He won't renew his contract. He is one of the players who doesn't want to go down with the team.

“I am not sure where he will be going but he is not staying.”

Obada joined Swallows three seasons ago from Maritzburg United, when former coach Gordon Igesund was rebuilding the club, and he was part of the MTN8-winning team under Zeca Marques.
