Nyandoro not in Sundowns camp

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns veteran midfielder Esrom Nyandoro is not part of the squad that is currently in camp in Mpumalanga.

Sport24 reported earlier that the Zimbabwean midfielder hasn't yet renewed his contract with the team and he could be hanging up his boots.

Now sources close to the player say that he was left behind as the team prepares for the new season.

"Esrom didn't travel with the team," said the source.

"This just shows that the technical team don't have him in their plans and since he hasn't yet signed a new contract this would be the end of his long career at Sundowns.

"He is still to hear from the management on whether he will renew his contract or not."

Nyandoro's contract ended on June 30 and nothing has happened yet.
