Notsi taking charge at Mthatha Bucks?

Cape Town - Recently promoted NFD side, Mthatha Bucks, are expected to announce former Lesotho national team coach Leslie Notsi as their new coach this week.

The former Garankuwa United coach arrived in the Eastern Cape on Thursday and has been conducting the team’s training sessions as well as assessing new players since the club parted ways with Julius Dube.

A source close to developments told Sport24 that the two parties are waiting to finalise a few things before Notsi can be unveiled as the new coach.

“Indeed, Notsi is with Mthatha Bucks, but there are a few outstanding issues before the team can make an announcement,” the source said.

“They have agreed a deal in principle and it’s just a matter of finalising a few things.

According to the source, the team was looking for an experienced campaigner to steer the ship in the NFD hence they went for the former Lesotho mentor.
