No new signings for Black Aces

Mbombela - With the Premier Soccer League (PSL) January transfer window edging closer, Mpumalanga Black Aces have confirmed that they intend to continue using the same squad for the remainder of the 2014/15 campaign.

Aces spokesperson Gordon Masondo told Sport24 in an exclusive interview on Friday that Amazayoni are also not off-loading any of their current squad players.

“No. We didn’t make any signings in this January transfer window period,” said Masondo.

“We are not intending to recruit any player from any team.

“And also, we are not going to release any player from our team.

“We just want to continue with the same squad for the remainder of the season.”

Aces are currently in 9th spot on the log standings.

They will open their campaign for the new calendar year against Absa Premiership strugglers, Platinum Stars, at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on February 11.
