No fear for Polokwane City

Polokwane - Polokwane City head coach Kosta Papic says his team is not afraid of any Premier Soccer League (PSL) team and will be playing attacking football with the intention to win every game going forward.

Rise and Shine held the Absa Premiership log leaders, Kaizer Chiefs, to a goalless draw in an entertaining clash played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday night.

“I think that the supporters have enjoyed the match,” Papic told the reporters in a post-match press conference.

“Unfortunately the goals were the only thing missing from this game.

“Both teams have created about four to five chances but failed to convert.

“We have shown character throughout the game and now we have also shown that Polokwane City is not afraid of any PSL team anymore.

“From now on, we are going to play attacking football with an intention to win every match we play.

“We wanted to win this one too but we were just unlucky.

“And now we are really looking forward to our next match.”

City will lock horns against the struggling Platinum Stars at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium next week Wednesday.
