No decision yet on Ugandan duo at Pirates

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates will continue to assess Ugandan duo of Yasser Mugerwa and Saidi Kyeyune, who are said to have impressed Bucs’s technical team since arriving in the country early in July.

The pair attracted the attention of the Soweto giants during the earlier stages of the CAF’s Confederations’ Cup where Pirates knocked their side, Ugandan Revenue Authority 4-3 on aggregate.

The two players recently featured for Pirates in the King Super Cup in Swaziland and according to their club’s secretary general, Henry Mayeku, no decision has yet been taken on the duo and Pirates will continue to assess them.

“No decision has been taken on the players as yet and they are still training with Pirates for their pre-season,” Mayeku told Sport24.

“They want to take more look at them in their upcoming pre-season matches and only then that maybe a decision will be made.”
