No complaints from Manyisa

Cape Town – Orlando Pirates captain Oupa ‘Ace’ Manyisa is not worried about fatigue despite not having had a break in two years.

According to Soccer Laduma, Manyisa and the rest of the Buccaneers squad have just returned from Tunisia following their all important 1-0 victory over CS Sfaxien in a CAF Confederations Cup tie.

The captain endured the full 90 minutes and this weekend at the Carling Black Label Cup will lead out the Sea Robbers against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, August 1.

“I haven’t had a break for two years,” said Pirates midfielder.

“I’ve been playing Champions League games, AFCONs, CHANs and league games. It’s not about the fatigue though - you have to keep your body fit and also get some rest.

“There’s no danger of burn-out because football is what I love.”
