The 29-year-old last week returned to Matsatsantsa on loan until end of the season after five successful years with Orlando Pirates, whom he joined from SuperSport in 2010.
And, having achieved five consecutive Premiership titles with both United and Pirates - three consecutive successes with SuperSport and two with the Buccaneers - Daniels is delighted to have such a prolific talent back at the Tshwane giants.
"There's no second choice about his qualities," Daniels told Football411.
"He's the most experienced, most decorated and most successful player in the entire league and there isn't a better signing than that of his.
"He's a home boy here in Pretoria and at the club, and I'd like to welcome him back to the club.
"I know that if given the chance he will deliver for us on any day.
"I wish him all the best in his spell with us."
Klate has also won the MTN8, two Nedbank Cup, the Absa Cup and SAA Supa-8 titles during his professional footballing career in South Africa.
