Although the announcement of Nkosi’s release flew under the media radar at the otherwise well-documented Chiefs press conference on Tuesday, the side from Lamontville were keeping a keen eye on his situation.
Nkosi joined Chiefs three seasons ago from Golden Arrows and now the KZN-based side which has just been promoted back to the Absa Premiership wants the Newcastle born midfielder.
A source said that the team representatives have already approached the well-travelled midfielder.
"The talks began even before Chiefs had announced that Nkosi's contract won't be renewed,” the source revealed to Sport24.
“The player knew at the end of the season that he won't be staying at Chiefs so he had to make sure he has a new home and it seems Arrows are in for it.”
