Nkhatha learning from mistakes

Johannesburg – Kingston Nkhatha reveals that despite being a victim of the fans frustrations that he is focused on not repeating mistakes.

As it happened: Kaizer Chiefs v Orlando Pirates

“We must keep on pushing [after winning MTN8 Final) and no matter what happens with fans because they don't play football,” said Nkhatha.

The Zimbabwean says that Amakhosi coach Stuart Baxter does not mind mistakes but repeating them is what the 61-year-old does not want to witness.

According to KickOff, Nkhatha says that although he is happy to be a Kaizer Chiefs player after winning 1-0 against Orlando Pirates he feels that supporters will always give players stick whether they playing good or bad.

“I can't say anything about them [Fans] and the only thing I need to tell them is let's keep on supporting the team and it is not a one-man show, it is a collective effort.”

Chiefs shift their focus to their league campaign as they take on Maritzburg United in the Absa Premiership on Saturday, September 27 at the FNB Stadium.

Kick-off is scheduled for 20:15.
