Mbombela - Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder Zamokuhle Ngalo has expressed his disappointment following their 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates last week.
AmaZayoni and the Buccaneers shared the spoils in an exciting Absa Premiership encounter at the Orlando Stadium on Friday, September 18.
The inform Mpho Makola broke the deadlock for the Buccaneers in the early stages of the game before AmaZayoni levelled matters courtesy of Collins Mbesuma at the stroke of half-time.
The 33-year-old player said they were well prepared heading top their encounter and were anticipating to grab the maximum number of points but were left disappointed at the end of the day as things could not go their way on the night.
“We were a little bit flat at as a team throughout the game," said Ngalo.
“I don’t know what happened but we tried our best to win the game.
“And to get a point there is not bad for us but we are disappointed because we were hoping to get three points.
“I think the technical team has prepared so well for the game and we thought maybe we had a chance to win it.
“Unfortunately this is football, things cannot always go according to your plan, and so we didn’t make it.”
Aces remained in fifth spot on the log while the Buccaneers are still rutted outside the top eight.
Pirates will face Polokwane City on Tuesday, September 22 in a PSL fixture at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
