While his current contract was coming to an end next year, the team has already agreed on another three year deal with the former Mamelodi Sundowns player.
Mabokgwane spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Aces from Wits, then officially joined the club a month into last season, and has been first-choice since signing.
Though not revealing much to Sport24, Aces General Manager Gordon Masondo confirmed that the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper will stay at the team for long.
"You know a contract is between the employer and the employee, so I can't tell you much about that," Masondo said.
"But what I can tell you is that he is our player and he will be our player for a long time.
"He has a good contract with us and we are happy with him, so he will be here for a long time."
