According to Soccer Laduma, Masango is being targeted by French Ligue 1 club, Rennes, as his current Amakhosi deal is set to expire next year June.

Masango’s agent, Walter Mokoena, reveals that Chiefs haven’t yet come forward about speaking about a new contract.

“What happens is that first the club must express an interest to keep the player,” said Mokoena.

“If they do so, they will then request a meeting and we’ll discuss the terms of the deal.

"We’ve followed this process every time he’s renewed (his contract) over the years. It goes back and forth, and, if we agree, then we sign. But of course we have to wait for the club.”
