Nedbank Cup 'means everything'

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns have been drawn away to Platinum Stars for the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup.

Veteran Downs midfielder Suprise Moriri who was at the draw said the fact that Dikwena has in the past cup competition games knocked Sundowns out doesnt mean anything.

“Winning the Nedbank Cup this time around means everything to us,” said Moriri.

“We are not going to let history dictate the outcome of the game because we are more determined and fired up more than ever before.

The draw was conducted at the Carlton Centre with the Last 16 fixtures provisionally scheduled for the weekend of March 21/22.

The venue and time for this game will be announced in due course.
