The future of the towering frontman remains unclear, with Ndulula expected to leave the Durban-based club following their relegation to the National First Division.

AmaZulu remain hopeful of retaining the services of the former Orlando Pirates player, who has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Kaizer Chiefs.

For the time being, Ndulula is enjoying the end-of-season break, and is yet to make a decsion on his future.

"I'm at home now enjoying my break, I haven't decided where to go or what to do next season," he told BackpageTxt.

"I'm just resting now and the rumours will always be there about Kaizer Chiefs, I can't say much about them.

"Yes, the club wants me to stay and continue in the NFD but I can't say much on that for now."

When asked if he was disappointed after missing out on the latest Bafana squad, he added: "I'm not bitter; I'm okay because being part of the squad isn't something permanent.

"I still have a chance to feature for the national side, I just have to work hard and the players who are selected must work hard.

"I wish them all the best for the match and qualifying is the priority, I fully support them."
