Ndoro pleads for patience

Cape Town - One of the newest members of the Orlando Pirates strikeforce, Tendai Ndoro, has pleaded with the Bucs faithful not to judge him based on one appearance.

The former Mpumalanga Black Aces forward made debut for his new employers in the 1-0 loss against SuperSport United last week.

Ndoro is looking to thrive under pressure at the Soweto giants under coach Eric Tinkler.

"I know that the coaches have faith in me so I will pay them back by helping the team win as many matches as possible. I know I did not score against SuperSport but you cannot judge a player using a single match," Ndoro told KickOff.

On Tuesday, the Buccaneers take on Chippa United in their second league match of the season.

"I was dealing with a lot of emotions against SuperSport so I will be more settled against Chippa United if I get a chance to play.

"From the moment that I signed for Pirates, I was aware of the huge expectations that come with the job and I will never back away."
