Ncikazi: I'm worried

Cape Town – Maritzburg United coach Mandla Ncikazi admits that it is sensible for a coach to worry.

According to KickOff, United lost 2-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic and Ncikazi is beginning to worry because the club has not won a match this Absa Premiership season yet.

"You won't be sensible as a coach if you say you are not worried," says Ncikazi,

"We are the only team that hasn't won the match … I'm worried. I wish it can change quickly, but if I were to try to make excuses here, I have reasons why I played Kwanda [Mngonyama], who has not recovered from the ankle injury and that is why we substituted him.

"We brought in John [Pantsil] as sub but I think defensively we still have a lot of work to do and that is reality."

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
