Myeni wants to keep Bucs spirit

Cape Town – Orlando Pirates midfielder Sifiso Myeni hopes the team spirit in the squad continues as they prepare for their Telkom Knockout tie against University of Pretoria.

According to Soccer Laduma, the Buccaneers secured a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup final against Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel and have since been on a high.

"The mood in the camp is unbelievable. We are laughing together and sharing jokes and looking forward to the game on Friday and we want to win that game," said Myeni.

"We want to keep the spirit going in the team. We want to win the Telkom Knockout and to do that we have to start with this game.

"Tuks is a good side and we have to respect them for us to perform well," Myeni concluded.

The Buccaneers face the University of Pretoria in the first round of the Telkom Knockout at the Orlando Stadium on Friday, October 16.

Kick-off is at 20:00.
