Cape Town - Sifiso Myeni, who was the man of the match during the Soweto derby, said Orlando Pirates were unfortunate to walk away from the fixture with just one point.

Pirates started the match like a house on fire and had opportunities to put the game to bed before the half-time intermission.

On the afternoon Myeni also came agonizingly close to sealing the victory but his shot deflected off the crossbar.

“We were unlucky we didn’t win,” said Myeni after the match.

“We created more chances than Chiefs. So for us it’s just to go back and do the job in the next game.

“The coach told us that we need to start quickly.

“The first 10 minutes are very crucial, and after the 10 minutes we could see that Chiefs were a little bit scared because we had too much space.”
