Musonda makes Zambia switch

Cape Town - Former Polokwane City defender Joseph Musonda is back in his home country Zambia where he has joined Nkana FC on a one-year contract.

News reaching Sport24 is that the team has given the former Chipolopolo one year contract with an option of extending it at the end of the season in early December.

"Musonda has signed for Nkana for one year. It's a good deal for both the player and the team because of his experience he will help the team as they fight for the Super League title this season," the source said.

Nkana secretary general Kenny Mwansa confirmed that they have signed the former Golden Arrows defender.

"Yes it's true we have signed Joseph and we are happy to have him in our team. He is an experienced defender who will be so helpful to the team. He comes at the right time," Mwansa explained.
