Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs football manager, Bobby Motaung, has said that Knowledge Musona will either be an Amakhosi player on a loan deal or on an outright buy.
The Zimbabwean has only made 16 appearances for parent club, 1899 Hoffenheim, before he was loaned out to FC Augsburg and then back to former club Chiefs.
Last month Chiefs’ media and corporate communications manager, Vina Maphosa, confirmed to Sport24 in an exclusive interview that the German outfit are yet to confirm with Amakhosi whether they will retain their 24-year-old goal poacher or sell him to the Soweto giants permanently.
The Glamour Boys are still to decide on what deal to take as it is understood that Hoffenheim are not interested in holding onto Musona.
“We are hopeful that there will be nothing else that comes in for him and with our first option, we will then be able to agree something at the end of the month,” Motaung told Times Online.
“We can do a loan or an outright buy. We must still decide about these two options.”
Should Amakhosi buy Musona outright or hand him yet another loan spell at the Naturena?
