Musona close to R16m move

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs' Bobby Motaung will travel to Germany this weekend to discuss TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's R16 million offer for Knowledge Musona.

The talented striker finished last season as the PSL's top goalscorer - netting 15 times - and has sparked interest from both Hoffenheim and Scottish giants Celtic.

However, the Bundesliga outfit appear to have won the race to sign the powerful forward, and Motaung is now set to travel to the club to thrash out the finer details of the contract.

"I will meet officials of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and if the talks are successful, the transfer of Knowledge will be done on the spot" the Chiefs general manager told the Sowetan.

"Knowledge will be back to feature in the Vodacom Challenge and Carling Black Label Cup if there is no agreement."
