Kaizer Chiefs’ on-loan forward, Knowledge Musona, says that he’s been working hard in training and is close to regaining full match fitness.
The 23-year-old rejoined the Amakhosi last month, two years after leaving Naturena for Germany following a fine 2010/11 season with the Glamour Boys.
Now the Zimbabwean, who has scored five goals in his last four games against tonight’s PSL opponents, Mpumalanga Black Aces, is hoping for another successful season with Chiefs.

Speaking to the club’s official website he said, “I have been working hard in the past couple of days in training and I am not far from top-notch fitness. It has not been a problem for me to settle in the team and we are all looking forward to the start of the season. There is a belief in the team that we can do well again this season and I want to contribute to the success of the team.
“We came up against them back in 2010 and I remember scoring a brace against them. The first goal was a bicycle kick that was nominated among the best goals that season.
“That is all in the past though; it is now a new team, new players with new objectives and they will be determined to do well in the Premiership this season."
Chiefs take on AmaZayoni at 20h00 tonight, as they look to get their PSL title defence off to a good start.
