Mushekwi quits 'Downs training

Cape Town - Nyasha Mushekwi has reportedly stopped training with Mamelodi Sundowns after an apparent falling out following his failed move to Turkey.

The Zimbabwe international looked set to depart Chloorkop during the off-season after seemingly agreeing terms with an unnamed Turkish club, but the deal was believed to have fallen through on transfer deadline day.

And Mushekwi, who is in the final year of his deal with the Brazilians, is already looking to sever ties with the Tshwane giants, having reportedly made himself unavailable for training since returning from international duty last month.

The Warriors forward will be eligible to speak to clubs in January, and Sundowns could be open to letting him go on the cheap, with head coach Pitso Mosimane keen to remove any deadwood in the squad.
