Mtsila eager to prove worth at Chiefs

Johannesburg - As part of their policy, Kaizer Chiefs have again promoted a youngster from their development structures in midfielder Andisiwe Mtsila.

Mtsila says only God knows how this happened as there are many good players at the Chiefs academy but he is one of the two promoted this season.

He told Sport24 that hard work and commitment paid off for him and the other youngsters.

"Only God knows why and how this happened,” Mtsila said.

"I am very happy to have been promoted and it's not because I am better than the other players but because it was my time and that's why I thank God for the talent he gave me to play football.

"To Kaizer Chiefs, thank you for showing belief and trust in me and I will work hard to repay them for that."
