Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs striker Siphelele Mthembu reveals that he does not mind playing off the substitutes bench.

According to Soccer Laduma, the forward has indicated that it is all about Steve Komphela’s plan for each game

The former Platinum Stars poacher adds that he does not mind coming on from the bench in order to help the Sowetan giants.

"We play as a team and depending on the system the coach wants to play, you can still score goals even if you are coming from the bench," he told Soccer Laduma.

"Sometimes it’s about luck, whether you start the game or come from the bench, but it’s also always about hard work.

"It doesn’t mean that when you start from the bench you are a bad player. At times the coach wants you to come on from the bench because he wants you to change the game.

"It’s all about the coaches game plan."
