Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler has hinted he may hand a debut to Siyabonga Mpontshane for Wednesday's Nedbank Cup last 32 clash against Tornado FC.

The goalkeeper joined the Buccaneers from Platinum Stars in the January transfer window, but has yet to get a first taste of competitive action for his new employers as Brighton Mhlongo remains the first-choice.
However, Mpontshane now looks set to make his bow when Pirates welcome their ABC Motsepe League opponents to Soweto in midweek.
"Now that Brighton has claimed the number one jersey after being a third-choice goalkeeper, it would be silly of me to put him aside," Tinkler told The Sowetan.
"I believe he will be a great goalkeeper. But at the same time Mpontshane is here and, who knows, maybe he will play the next game or the game after that.
"We are involved in three competitions and players will get an opportunity to play. What's important is that when you get the opportunity, you should prove yourself."
The coach also revealed he would need to change up his attacking options, adding: "[Lehlohonolo] Majoro won't be available [he is suspended], so obviously there will be a change up front."
