Mphela 'too hungry' to succeed?

Cape Town - Legendary Kaizer Chiefs striker, Shane McGregor, had advised Katlego Mphela to lose some weight if he is to be the feared marksman he once was.

"Killer", as the striker is known, has been released by Kaizer Chiefs after a poor season where he struggled with injuries and failed to score after his comeback.

“For a striker, you must always be hungry for goals,” McGregor told Sport24

“But I feel Mphela has lost his hunger, and will have to get it back if he wants to deliver at the highest stage again.

“He should put a lot of work in the gym and shed a few kilos because he looked overweight after coming back from injury.”
