Cape Town - Premier Soccer League (PSL) rookies Mpumalanga Black Aces confirmed that they may sign Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Katlego Mphela, on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season.
According to a report on the Kick-Off website, the Brazilians’ main objective is to avoid Mphela’s move to their arch rivals, Kaizer Chiefs.
“Killer” signed a pre-contract with Amakhosi at the beginning of the month as his current deal with the five-times PSL winners is due to expire in June.
Gordon Masondo, the Media Liaison Officer at Amazayoni, said the North West-born striker will be a good recruitment to the newly-promoted side.
It remains to be seen where Mphela would be for the remainder of the season as the transfer window period is due to close later on Friday.
