Chiefs 'done' with Khune, Masango

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs team manager, Bobby Motaung, has ruled out the possibility of Itumeleng Khune and Mandla Masango returning to Naturena ahead of the new season.

The duo departed the club at the end of the 2014/15 Premiership campaign, having failed to negotiate new deals with the Soweto giants.

Both players are still available for transfer, prompting speculation that Chiefs might be open to the idea of re-opening contract negotiations.

However, Motaung has poured cold water on such suggestions. He said: "We are not discussing anything. We are done.

"If you want to know about Khune or Masango's futures you need to call them.

"They know their future. I have no comment on any of those issues right now."

Meanwhile, Motaung refused to comment on the furore surrounding Steve Komphela's acrimonious Maritzburg departure.

He said: "I have no comment on the Maritzburg issue. Tim Sukazi is an agent, he is dealing with that. Call him.

"I am going on holiday now. The (Camaldine) Abraw matter is in the hands of our legal representation. The PSL can comment on that.

"When we have a story for you we will call you. I have no stories right now."
