Motaung defends transfer policy

Cape Town - Bobby Motaung has defended his side's transfer policies but also gave fans hope of signing more players ahead of the new 2014/15 PSL season.

Kickoff.com are reporting that the Amakhosi's boss is confident that Chiefs are well positioned ahead of the new season and will look to strengthen the side but not at the risk of team harmony.

Reigning PSL champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, are leading the way in terms of signings during the current transfer window while Kaizer Chiefs have only added five new faces to their first team squad.

Chiefs have signed Levy Mokgothu and Siphelele Mthembu and while addinf three young players to their ranks from the development team. The youngsters are set to spend some time on loan this season.

Motaung has urged fans to understand that signing an exorbitant numbers of players does not equal immediate success and that team harmony should always be taken into account. 

Chiefs are focused on silverware this season after finishing last term with no success in the trophy department. Motaung is keen on keeping the Chiefs' culture alive and believes success will come from players growing within the Chiefs structure.

Motaung is aware of the fans desire for success and hinted that they could be in the marked for two more players and refused to rule out a bid should an exceptionally talented player become available.
