Johannesburg - Pitso Mosimane trusts that Mamelodi Sundowns' friendlies against three of Ghana's top sides will help weed out the weak from the strong in his squad.
According to the Football411 website, the Brazilians returned to training two weeks ago in preparation for next season, with the Tshwane outfit reporting to pre-season camp in Polokwane.
Mosimane has since revealed Downs will do battle against Asante Kotoko, Hearts Of Oak and Dwarfs as he looks to continue to introduce news signings, as well as experiment with his line-ups.
"We are in the third week of our pre-season preparations and I look forward to the friendly matches against the African giants because my players will be tested but also because we will have an indication of the work we have been doing so far," he told the club's official website.
Sundowns recently took on 2013/14 PSL newcomers Polokwane City in a warm-up fixture, which saw Duncan Lechesa's men get the better of their more illustrious opponents 1-0 on the day, yet Mosimane is not overly concerned.
He added: "Look, we cannot get everything right on the first few days but as far as the squad is concerned, I can say that they players are responding well to instruction and we are getting what we intended out of the camps.
"The Polokwane camp was about loading and getting the players back into shape after the season break. Here in Ghana we want to test what we have been working on since we have opened."
