Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane was left frustrated following his side’s 0-0 draw against AmaZulu in an Absa Premiership match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Soccer-Laduma website, the Brazilians’ coach said they threw everything at the KZN outfit, but they could not crack their defensive line.
“For us it was a game of two halves. In the first half it was more open for us to get something but we did not,” said Mosimane.
“The second half we doubled our efforts, we fought hard. We threw everything at them, but they didn’t crack.
“Look, the boys are trying, we know it is too many draws and it is not good enough, but the energy is there and the passion is there.
“We put everything there and I am happy when we try, I accept that.
“They (the Sundowns team) are just not sure if they good enough, I have to keep motivating them, but we will get there.
“One point is not bad and we are not worried. We know the games are getting fewer for the top eight, but we have to keep trying.”
Sundowns are currently 11th on the league table with 29 points which is five points adrift of eighth placed Bloemfontein Celtic.
