According to the soccerladuma.co.za website, the Brazilians beat the Urban warriors 3-1 at Loftus and Mosimane said the win was crucial in their bid to crack the top half of the table.
“We needed this win, we are desperate and we needed the points. We need to move up a little bit, we are trying to make the top eight,” he said.
“We laboured, it was hard work but it was well earned. I knew in the second half they would be emotional and want to equalise.”
The former Bafana Bafana coach went on to state that he would not stop tinkering with his team as he searched for the most fruitful combinations.
“Our transition is good, I’m happy to keep going and exploring and giving other guys a chance to play. I brought Eleazar (Rodgers) today, our lucky charm,” said Mosimane.
“I was talking with the president, Patrice (Motsepe), and he said Eleazar is out lucky charm and he was our lucky charm (Tuesday).
“As much as I want to take the team out of where they are and into top eight I am not afraid of exploring. At the end of the season I must know who did what and give everyone a fair chance to play.
“There is 21 points to play for, on Tuesday we created five chances and we took three. I’m happy, last time we created five and didn’t score. “
