Cape Town - Michael Morton pours cold water on the rumours that he is set to leave SuperSport United.

A number of football publications earlier this week suggested that Morton, along with Mor Diouf, were on their way out of the club as they were keen to reunite with Cavin Johnson at Platinum Stars.
Morton spoke to Sport24, saying that the transfer talk was news to him.
“I also read those stories but I haven’t heard anything from the club so the only way I know about this is by going on those websites.
“Obviously Cavin brought me to SuperSport so I guess that’s why.
“I didn’t play as much as I would have liked but I still played 22 games the whole season and won a trophy so I can’t be terribly unhappy.”
The 26-year-old midfielder said that he planned to stay on at the club to push for silverware, and that if he were to move, it would not be of his own choosing.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club and I always said that when I joined SuperSport it was about winning silverware and we won a trophy straight off the back.
“So it has been going pretty well overall.
“If there is a move it will be because the club are to release me and not because I want to go.”
