Morena has been with Celtic for just two seasons now and he only really had opportunities to shine during the 2014/15 Premiership campaign, where he has played in 14 league matches for Phunya Sele Sele.
“I didn’t see or hear anything about the call-up, I’m very happy because it’s every player’s dream to play in the national team,” Morena told African Football.
“I’ve been working hard at club level and I'm glad the national team selectors have been watching me. I think with the arrival of coach Clinton Larsen at Celtic, a lot has changed in our team and our confidence has benefitted a lot as players.
“I dedicate this call-up to my teammates for showing support at all times, technical staff and the evergreen Siwelele army.
“I won’t relax in the camp, my aim is to continue working hard and remain humble - I want to learn as much as I can.”
