Moosa wants 'Downs to dominate Wits

Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns legend Zane Moosa said the only reason that will make the clash against Bidvest Wits difficult, will be that both teams are title contenders and there is a possibility the game could go either way.

Kick-off is set for 15:00

Moosa who also played for The Clever Boys said he hopes Downs’ will be able to work on their defence and block any chances that Wits might have in order to get some goals at the back of the net.

“Eish yeah I don’t know what to say about that one but it’s going to be something else for sure.

They (Sundowns) haven’t really been doing so well hey, and they haven’t won any games since the season started,” he told Sport24.

“The reason that will make this match tougher is that these are both teams that are title contenders so it can easily go either way.

“I hope they work on their defence and close in any necessary gaps that might give Hunt’s boys a chance but it’s very difficult to predict at the same time.

“Keagan Dolly has been injured and I hope he is well and features in the match because it will make a huge difference having him on the field.

“I’d also say look out for Khama Billiat, and Teko Modise. I always enjoy watching these boys play.

“From Wits side I would definitely say Sibusiso Vilakazi, Botes has also done well at recent games, Moneeb Josephs always good on the goalkeeper side, Pelembe and Klate are also very good and they will be hungry to prove themselves, especially Pelembe because he hasn’t received much game time especially when he played for his former team, Sundowns so he will be out to prove a big point there.

“I will also be paying attention to Vincent Pule, there is some potential there but hasn’t received much game time either so it’s difficult to place judgement but he has shown himself in the few times he has featured for Wits.

Mamelodi Sundowns will challenge Bidvest Wits at Lucas Moripe stadium.
