Cape Town - Chippa United midfielder Manti Moholo maintains that his side are not to be disrespected when they play against Orlando Pirates in Soweto.

Chippa United have encountered a considerable amount of drama off the pitch, which has undoubtedly had an adverse effect on the squad’s performance this term.

However, Moholo has confidence in the squad, under the tutelage of Ernst Middendorp, has the capacity to produce a positive result in Gauteng and expects his club to do just that this week.

"I have seen somewhere written that Pirates are saying we are meeting them at the wrong time. I am also saying they are meeting us at the wrong time when we are hungry for points," Moholo told KickOff.

It is no secret that Chippa United are stuggling for results this season but Moholo does not think that his team has played badly, suggesting that luck simply hasn’t been on their side throughout the campaign.

"We have always been playing well but luck has not been on our side. The game against Pirates gives us a chance to bounce back in a great style," said Moholo.

Kick-off at 19:30 on Tuesday, March 10.
