Cape Town - Orlando Pirates legend Helman Mkhalele has heaped praise on the signing of Tendai Ndoro, saying he expects the striker to thrive at the club.
The Zimbabwean front-man was one of five new players unveiled at a press conference on Wednesday and Mkhalele believes his ability to provide goals as well as score them will make him a huge asset to the Sea Robbers.
"I am pleased with him joining Pirates because I have watched him play and I think it was a wise move to bring him to the club," Mkhalele told KickOff.
"You can see that the decision was a well informed one because he is also an international player and this is important when you consider that Pirates are competing in the CAF Confederation Cup.
"Ndoro offers more than goals and I think he will thrive at a big club like Pirates. This is the kind of depth that is needed at a big club like Pirates."
